MTV Splitsvilla 16 grand finale has been confirmed for May 15 and 16, 2026. The final episode will air at 7pm on JioHotstar. Four couples. One trophy. And for the first time in the show’s history — the audience gets to decide.

After weeks of drama, strategy, betrayals and audience voting twists — MTV Splitsvilla 16 finally has its winners
Winners — Kushal Tanwar (Gullu) & Kaira
Gullu and Kaira officially won MTV Splitsvilla 16. After dominating the season and winning the Ticket to Finale task earlier, they carried their momentum into the grand finale and lifted the trophy.
1st Runners-Up — Yogesh Rawat & Ruru Thakur
One of the most consistent couples throughout the season, Yogesh and Ruru finished as the first runners-up after an impressive semifinal performance.
2nd Runners-Up — Sorab Bedi & Niharika Tiwari
Sorab and Niharika completed one of the strongest comeback arcs of the season— their journey became one of the biggest talking points of the season. They have had the most dramatic journey of any couple this season. And couples with that kind of story tend to go all the way.
3rd Runners-Up — Tayne De Villiers & Soundharya Shetty
Tayne and Soundharya entered the finale through strategy-heavy gameplay and remained the wildcard couple till the very end. Their journey divided fans all season long.

MTV Splitsvilla 16 Semifinal — What Happened
Sunday night’s semifinal had one unexpected elimination before the task even began.
Splitcoins Twist — Himanshu and Diksha Out
The hosts Karan Kundrra and Sunny Leone announced a condition — every couple needed 50,000 splitcoins to participate in the semifinal task. All couples had the required coins except Himanshu and Diksha. They requested their fellow contestants to help them reach the target — but failed to collect the full amount.
Result — Himanshu and Diksha were eliminated before the task even started. No dome. No chance. Just gone.
MTV Splitsvilla 16 Semifinal Task
The task had two parts.
Part 1 — Pool Challenge:- The girls were suspended from a rope above a pool. Every 10 seconds they were dropped into the water. At the bottom of the pool were 10 balls — tied down. The girls had to dive in and collect as many balls as possible each time before being pulled back up.
Part 2 — Attack the Fort :- The balls collected by the girls became ammunition for the boys. Using a large slingshot-style launcher, the boys had to fire the balls at the opposing team’s fort — and bring it down.
Scoring:
- Colour block falls — 20 points
- Grey block falls — 10 points
The Results
Game 1 — Sorab Bedi and Niharika Tiwari vs Vishu Bajaj and Suzzane
Sorab scored 280 points. Vishu scored 250 points. Sorab and Niharika won — and secured their place in the grand finale.
Game 2 — Yogesh Rawat and Ruru Thakur vs Deeptanshu Saini and Sadhaaf Shankar
Yogesh and Ruru scored 350+ points. Deeptanshu and Sadhaaf could only manage 200 points. Yogesh and Ruru won — and confirmed their spot in the finale.

Biggest Twist in Splitsvilla History — Pyaar Ka Power
This is what changes everything about this finale. For the very first time in Splitsvilla history — audience votes will decide the winning couple.
The new feature is called Pyaar Ka Power — and it gives fans the power to vote for their favourite finalists. Every season before this one, the result came from within the show — tasks, dome sessions, ideal matches. The audience watched but never decided.
This time — you decide. Hosts Sunny Leone and Karan Kundrra appear in the new promo hinting at a “big reveal” — suggesting that alliances, strategies and feelings inside the villa could soon face drastic shifts.
What this means practically — a couple that played a perfect game inside the villa could still lose if the audience does not like them. And a couple that struggled all season could win if they have the fan base behind them. It changes the entire calculation.
