Famous Haryanvi singer Masoom Sharma is facing a major security crisis after a shocking incident in Jind, Haryana. On July 6, 2026, a serious Masoom Sharma death threat case came to light after the singer attended his cousin sister’s wedding at Agrasen Dharamshala in Julana.
During the wedding function, a group of armed men cornered the artist, physically assaulted his nephew, and issued an open ultimatum to his life. Here is exactly what happened.
How the Fight Started
According to eye-witnesses, the fight started on the stage during the Varmala (garland ceremony). Masoom Sharma went up to the stage to take a photo with his sister. A few young men from the groom’s side (from Satrod, Hisar) started making bad comments. They complained about the delay in taking photos. This quickly turned into a loud argument.

Masoom Sharma Death Threat Inside Wedding Venue
After the stage argument over photos, Masoom Sharma went to a nearby room to meet his family members. The attackers followed him there and blocked the door so he could not leave. A man named Kartik and his friends pulled out illegal pistols, pointed a gun directly at the singer, and said, “We will kill you within 3 days.” When Masoom’s nephew tried to step in to save him, the men beat him up badly.
Police Action and CCTV Confiscated
Masoom’s brother, Vikas, filed an official complaint at the Julana Police Station.

- The police have officially seized the CCTV footage of the wedding hall to track the suspects who fled the scene.
- The manager of the venue was strictly ordered not to share this video with anyone else.
Gangster Angle Under Investigation
While threatening the singer, the main suspect, Kartik, claimed that he belongs to a major criminal gang. Jind Police are taking this seriously because Masoom Sharma has a history of threats. He previously received extortion demands from the Sumit Malik Bhainswal gang, and shots were fired at his residence in late 2023.

Heavy Security and SP’s Warning
The police have deployed extra security guards outside Masoom Sharma’s home and studio. Recently, a suspicious man on a bike was caught doing a recce (scouting) outside his farmhouse.
However, Jind SP Kuldeep Singh has issued a strict warning. Earlier, Masoom was caught using his government security commandos to shoot “gangster-style” Instagram reels. The SP stated that if the singer uses his police guards for social media videos again, his security cover will be cancelled immediately.
Current Status: Any Arrests?
As of today, the main accused, Kartik, and his associates are still on the run. No arrests have been made for the wedding fight yet, but police teams are conducting raids across the region to catch them.
