A road rage video from Gurugram has taken over social media, and now the police have stepped in.
Gurugram biker Sia case involves a woman rider who was allegedly hit by a car while riding on Golf Course Road. A camera mounted on her bike recorded the entire incident, and the video quickly went viral online.
The footage shows a car coming close to the biker before hitting her motorcycle. The woman then falls, while her bike is dragged across the road for several metres.
What Happened On Golf Course Road?
The woman, who identified herself as Sia, said the incident happened on Sunday morning. She was riding her Aprilia RS 457 with a group of bikers when she noticed a car following them. According to her, the people inside the car were repeatedly trying to make her stop.
Gurugram biker Sia said she tried to keep moving and avoid the car. One of her fellow riders also tried to stop the car from coming too close to her But things quickly turned serious.
The car allegedly moved towards her bike and hit it from the side. Sia fell from the motorcycle, which then skidded several metres on the road, Video later spread across Instagram and other social media platforms.

Gurugram Police Responds After Gurugram Road Rage Online Outrage
As the Gurugram road rage video gained attention, questions were raised online about why no action had been taken. Some social media users even claimed that they had identified the person allegedly involved in the incident.
Gurugram Police has now said that it has taken suo motu action after seeing the viral video. Police said an FIR has been registered and that efforts are being made to identify and catch the accused.
The police also said that no written complaint had been received from the woman till Monday afternoon. Sia later said on Instagram that she planned to file an FIR with her lawyer by Monday evening.

After the video went viral, Sia thanked people online for supporting her. She also said that several people were trying to find out who was behind the incident.
For now, she has chosen not to show her face or reveal more details about her identity. She also said that she would not be giving interviews about the case at this stage.

Car Owner Says His Friend Had Taken It
Another part of the story has now emerged. The car owner, identified as Manish, said that he was not driving the vehicle when the incident happened. According to ANI, Manish said he had given the car to his friend Kalyan Singh around two days earlier. Manish said he was serving in the Army and was posted in Assam when the incident happened.
He claimed that he came to know about the crash only on Monday morning. He said he tried calling Singh after learning about the incident, but the call was not answered. Manish also said that he sent his father and other people to Singh’s house, Singh is reportedly from Palwal district in Haryana.
